Welcome to USA Vacation Homes new section on Home Exchange.  In additional to the many vacation rentals advertised on our website, we now offer you the possibility of adding your vacation home or residence as a Home Exchange.  Home exchanging has many advantages, including significant savings on hotel costs since neither party has to pay for lodging.  Imagine staying in a spacious home, condo, cabin or cottage instead of a one-room hotel?  Live like a local resident while on vacation, taking a sabbatical or a short term business trip.

If you are planning on doing a home exchange, it is recommended that you post your home exchange offer several months before the dates you want to exchange homes. A good starting point would be to set-up one of our unique custom websites that will allow you profile your home with a picture gallery, details about your home description and amenities, information about yourself, your preferred destination(s) and proposed dates of travel. We also provide a unique Google Map to identify your location.

Once your website is set-up, you will be added to the USA Vacation Homes Home Exchange Directory and the Vacation Rentals Directory if you are also marketing your home as a vacation rental   You can choose to get listed as a Home Exchange, Vacation Rental or both.

To increase your chances of concluding an exchange you should also consider posting your home swap offer on several of the home exchange sites (both free and paid).  Almost of all the websites will allow you to post a link to your personal website.  Look for well established sites with a good choice of up-to-date listings in areas/countries you are interested in.
