| Main Attractions |
London Bridge - One of Arizona's most famous attractions is the London Bridge. The bridge, originally built in 1831, was sold by the British Government to Robert McCulloch, the Founder of Lake Havasu City. It was then dismantled and shipped to the US and eventually to Lake Havasu City where it proudly takes its seat at the heart of the city. There was once a popular rumor going around that the bridge was bought in the belief that it was London's more famous Tower Bridge.
Lake Havasu - Lake Havasu is a man-made lake that was created when Parker Dam was built back in 1938. It is actually a Colorado River reservoir that is extremely popular for water-skiing, boating and other recreational water sports.
It's possible to do virtually any form of watercraft at Lake Havasu, often called the Watercraft Capital of the world. Rent a ski boat, houseboat, try kayaking, jet skiing or just watch the boat regattas. It's also possible to try parasailing and hang-gliding around the lake.
